• Antheil’s aesthetic is very much what is fashionable now...
  In this commanding performance [of Symphony No. 6], the first movement has a fierce wartime atmosphere, and the ragtime finale is as joyfully irreverent as we expect Antheil to be.
  
  This is an important release, a knock-out in every way.
