New Corigliano Film Score

John Corigliano is currently composing a new film score for Edge of Darkness, the new thriller from director Martin Campbell, starring Mel Gibson as a detective who uncovers government collusion when investigating the death of his activist daughter. The film is based on the 1985 TV miniseries which featured a score by Michael Kamen and Eric Clapton. GK Films is planning for the release of the film on November 11. Previously, Corigliano composed the groundbreaking score for Altered States in 1980, followed by the score for Revolution (1985) and won an Oscar for The Red Violin (1999).
