This spectacular album opens with a bang — several minutes of roaring, cacophonous horns and trombones, along with bashing percussion punctuations. Bright Sheng calls it a "Love Song" ("a loosely based impression of La’i singing") that he heard in the fields of Tibet, but [there are] wild free-for-all sounds...I have much to learn about Tibet.
