Wyner Turns 80!

Yehudi Wyner will celebrate his 80th birthday in June 2009. Harold Rosenbaum and his New York Virtuoso Singers honor Wyner with an “80th birthday Choral Tribute to Yehudi Wyner.” The concert will be held in New York City at the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue, on June 7, 2009 and will feature all of the Pulitzer Prize winner’s major choral works as well as a pre-concert lecture by Wyner.

On June 20 the Sarasota Music Festival, features Wyner's Piano Concerto 'Chiavi in Mano' with Robert Levin on piano, performed in a reduced orchestration.
