Ford's Theatre
as incidental music to a play about Abraham Lincoln’s assasination. On 2 July, Leonard Slatkin conducts the Nashville Symphony in a performance of this patriotic work as part of a Lincoln bicentennial program. Slatkin will record the work with the Nashville Symphony on a NAXOS Lincoln bicentennial CD to be released in February 2009.
