FAQ: Purchase Music

I want to purchase music published by G. Schirmer/AMP or one of your affiliated publishers.
Music in print is available from your local music store or online music dealers.
The Hal Leonard Corporation is the exclusive print distributor for works published by G. Schirmer/AMP.
First Step:
Please determine whether or not the music you want is for sale through a music retailer.
Second Step:
If the music you want is not available through a music retailer, it might be:
- Exclusively for rent from the G.Schirmer/AMP rental library.
- For sale as a Print On Demand title (i.e. "Manuscript Edition) from the G. Schirmer/AMP Rental Library.
- Out of print. If you think the piece is out of print, please follow the instructions here: Out of Print Music
- Published by another company. If you are not certain of the publisher, the ASCAP, BMI, and the MPA websites are good references for publisher information.
