  …in keeping with Wavendon's long established "all-music" philosophy, one of the re-opening concerts at The Stables featured an extraordinary blend of the old and the strikingly new. Celtic harp, chamber organ, theorbo, electronic keyboards, sax, bass and drums, plus the voices of Jacqui Dankworth and local amateur choirs all conspired to produce something entirely mould-breaking in Harvey Brough's Requiem in BlueI. Jazz, early music and choral idioms all unified to truly moving effect. A certain highlight of anyone's year.
