• Albert’s music is appealing on a number of levels, not the least of which is its attractive pure sound and melodic/harmonic interest. The public perception that new music is lousy music is fast melting because of works such as this [Anthems and Processionals]. Finally, in minimalism and new romanticism we have something we can relate to in a positive way on first hearing.
