Programme Note

The three sections of Christmas Vespers can all be performed as separate pieces. When the complete set is performed, the Two Chorale Preludes should serve as prelude and the Little Fantasy as postlude. Other music or elements of a worship service can be interspersed between the three sections if so desired. The text is from Matthew 2: 1-12.
