Synopsis: A retelling of the lover's drama in music closely aligned to the spoken text.
Reviews

Rodríguez's DON JUAN [is] seductive, bold...a luxurious, complex score. The text is predominantly spoken, but many of the lines are closely synchronized with the score. As is his wont, Rodríguez stole - his term - liberally from Mozart's opera and Strauss' tone poem on the same subject.
Recomposed echoes of those familiar scores were woven through Rodríguez's fetching, richly textured original music. [It was] ear-filling and cunningly apt - witty, raucous, sinister, erotic, as the drama required.
